Delmarva Veteran Builders Completes New Dover Christian Church

SALISBURY, Md. – July 27, 2018 – Delmarva Veteran Builders, the region’s only commercial construction firm dedicated to bringing employment to U.S. Armed Forces Veterans, announced the completion of Dover Christian Church at 1738 Forrest Avenue in Dover, Delaware.

“It is a beautiful building,” said Pastor Ted Henderson. “I can’t tell you how much I love it! The DVB team is a class act.”

“Our team did a great job with providing the church with quality value engineering and construction within the new space,” said Chris Eccleston, Delmarva Veteran Builders. “We are excited the project met the congregation’s needs and fit within their budget.”

The 3,700 square foot, single-story brick building includes a large worship hall, women’s and men’s bathrooms, an office, multi-use space and a kitchen. The new church is 100% handicap accessible and met the church’s budget for expanding into a larger space.

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with such a receptive client and help the Dover Christian Church congregation bring their long awaited visions to life,” said Jacob Meadows, Delmarva Veteran Builders, project manager. “Not only did this project launch Delmarva Veteran Builders in the Dover market, it was accomplished with great sentiment and reward with new relationships formed from the growth of the church.”

“An Air Force Veteran myself, I look at the measure of the man. The DVB men are great men,” added Henderson. “They are professional, dedicated and prompt. When the time comes for us to expand, I will go with no other contractor than Delmarva Veteran Builders.”
