Chris Eccleston, has been in the construction industry since 2007 managing over $100 million in commercial construction projects across Delmarva. He is a Navy veteran who served for six years as a nuclear machinist mate on-board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. During his time on-board, the ship was involved in three different tours for both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

When I first brought to life DVB in 2013, I had only myself, my determination and an idea that the commercial building industry could do better. Establishing a family-like atmosphere for employees, exceeding client’s expectations and seeking tangible ways to give back created a winning combination that continues to be both meaningful and memorable.

DANIEL MILLS, VP of Business Development

Daniel Mills brings with him a background in construction management, a degree in security management and over ten years of service in the United States Airforce. His skills, talents and drive are an asset to the company.

Daniel served nine of his ten active duty years in the United States Air Force as an In-Flight Refueler. He deployed to Qatar in March, 2015 for four months.

I was excited to learn about DVB when my family moved here in 2015 . When I heard about the opportunity Chris had available- I knew it was the perfect fit. I appreciate the camaraderie between our team, its dedication to empowering veterans and the relentless mission to provide the best customer experience.

Our core values include: integrity, communication, transparency and pride in ownership. It’s an easy transition for our veterans, as all military branches instill this same creed. Veteran or civilian, we hire people who share this same mentality to deliver creative solutions on time and on budget.

Build to Serve.

Companies cannot thrive on profits alone. Serving the community is woven into our fiber. We want to be relentless in our pursuit of giving back.

Walk in the client’s shoes.

We don’t ever want to be the company that forgets what it’s like to be the customer.

No value in excuses

Our job is to deliver results, in spite of difficulty.

Plan for the long term

Success is not measured in the short term. When the economy rises and falls, we strive to plan wisely for the future of our clients, employees and sub-contractors alike.

Authenticity is our brand.

We prioritize humanity to create an unforgettable, genuine environment that is hard to replicate elsewhere. We’ve created an atmosphere where employees want to come to work, support each other, have fun, and do good.
