Chris Eccleston, has been in the construction industry since 2007 managing over $100 million in commercial construction projects across Delmarva. He is a Navy veteran who served for six years as a nuclear machinist mate on-board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. During his time on-board, the ship was involved in three different tours for both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

When I first brought to life DVB in 2013, I had only myself, my determination, and an idea that the commercial building industry could do better. Establishing a family-like atmosphere for employees, exceeding client’s expectations, and seeking tangible ways to give back created a winning combination that continues to be both meaningful and memorable.

We’re a fresh + gritty commercial construction firm igniting potential and doing epic sh*T.

Delmarva Veteran Builders (DVB) was founded in January of 2013 by Navy Veteran Chris Eccleston with the specific intent to provide quality construction jobs for local Delmarva veterans. This dream has become a reality as DVB has been able to maintain a 35% veteran, guard, and reservist workforce since its inception. We believe that our workforce combining both veteran and civilian employees brings a unique attitude towards project delivery and customer service.
