July 11th is 7 Eleven day. Delmarva Veteran Builders is looking forward to building their newest location in Berlin, MD.
We wanted to express our appreciation to our superintendents who have been rolling with the punches since the beginning of this crisis. In true DVB fashion, we have put together this quick spoof from the comedy film "Hot Rod" starring Andy Samberg. [*Tip: If you're looking for a laugh, the movie is free on Netflix right now] Our supers are the heart and soul of the company -we could not do ANY of this without their support and leadership out in the field. Thank you to our everyday "super" heroes!
We asked people to light up thier windows at night as a way to show strength, unity and resilience. Here are some examples! *Turn the sound on if you can!
So tonight, we continue to ask you to “LIGHT FOR HOPE” and put a candle, holiday plug-in candle or holiday lights in your window to know we are thinking of each other- even though we are socially isolated! As long as we can see the light in ourselves, each other and our community, we know we can get through this storm.
DVB was able to pack and deliver thanksgiving meals for 46 veterans and their families. Special thanks to the VA in Cambridge for their assistance!
DVB had a great time participating in the second annual Junior Achievement of The Eastern Shore Inspire event held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City last Thursday. It was a lot of hard work but we had many people chip in to save the day! It was all worth it to help educate our youth on different career opportunities we have on the Shore. Be sure to check out this video of our time there - never a dull moment!
