DVB is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Carpenter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with strong craftsmanship capabilities and hands-on experience in commercial construction. The ideal candidate will take charge of projects on-site, work with team members effectively, and ensure top-quality workmanship from start to finish.

Carpenter primary duties and responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and doors, Drywall, Insulation

Wood and metal stud framing

Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials

Erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes

Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) and help setting up and transferring temporary structures (e. g. scaffolding)

Demolition, specialties and miscellaneous construction activities

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on carpentry experience in commercial construction

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)

Good hand-eye coordination

Familiarity with power tools and machinery is required

Communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to safety rules

Valid driver’s license

The successful Carpenter will be compensated with a competitive salary based on work experience.
