Project: Delmarva Veteran Builders teamed up with Columbia Care to build cultivation facilities, processing labs and retail dispensaries known as compassion centers in the vertically integrated market in Delaware.
Delaware’s medical cannabis program is unique from many other states in the country. They do not offer individual license types for each phase of the seed-to-sale process (cultivation license, producer/processor license, and dispensary/retail license).
Columbia Care products begin with a cultivation process that takes place in the Company’s controlled-environment agricultural production facility in Milford. The manufacturing and refinement processes take place in highly controlled labs with trained chemists who follow strict quality control guidelines to ensure product safety and consistency. All products undergo independent batch testing for a variety of measures to ensure the highest levels of purity.

Columbia Care, a premier provider of medical marijuana services and pharmaceutical-quality products to qualifying patients throughout the United States, opened its first dispensary in Delaware in June 2018. Established in 2013, they already own and operate over 10 dispensaries in California, Arizona, Massachusetts, Illinois, New York and Washington DC.
